Andrew Raichle, PE

Andy founded Watermen in 2008. His practice is wide ranging, with a focus on the waterfront that includes urban redevelopment, ports, marinas, utilities, heavy infrastructure and emerging businesses like offshore wind development. Andy is a sought-after resource for clients that need to plan for and deliver great projects. He has represented thousands of clients in industry, government and non-profits over his 30+ year career and is a commissioner of the New Jersey State Tidelands Commission.

Paul Calabrese, PE

Paul runs the Watermen machine. In addition to his extensive engineering and project delivery experience, Paul ensures that Watermen delivers clients on-time and accurate results at a fair price. His engineering experience includes civil, marine and transportation engineering, where he has represented clients for delivery of transportation infrastructure, utilities, municipal improvements and development projects.

Nicholas DeCotiis, PE

Nick is Watermen’s principal technical resource. He manages engineering deliverables for disciplines that include civil, marine, structural, geotechnical and environmental engineering. His project deliverables are diverse, ranging from living shorelines to building foundations. Nick ensures that Watermen utilizes appropriate and client-compatible technology for its deliverables, including software, field equipment and secure technical environments.

Michael Sinnema

Mike came to Watermen in 2023 after founding and operating Island Beach Environmental for 20 years. His principal mission is to secure the necessary permits, licenses and compliance for projects to proceed. He has entitled large and complex projects throughout the Northeast US, with a focus on waterfront and commercial/residential development.
